Applied Data Scientist
Working in the decision sciences team of advanced analytics unit, some of my responsibilities are:
- Involved in all phases of data science life-cycle from requirements understanding with business to development and deployment of use cases.
- Research on machine learning techniques, data exploration, ETL, feature engineering, model building & deploying use-cases on Data Lake.
Few of my deliverables are:
- Designed & Implemented a Machine Learning System that predicts customer's deposit churn. (Python, PySpark, Impala, R)
- Worked closely with Business Domain Experts and visualization artists to develop Customer Segmentation use case. (Python, PySpark, Hive, PowerBI, SSIS, SSAS)
- Extensively worked with Python, Power BI, SQL, HIVE, Impala, Hadoop, Spark, YARN.
- Assisted managers with adhoc reporting requests, tools implementation & evaluation (Informatica, SAS).
- Build end to end web based Quick Assessment tool for Low Cost Housing Finance. (Python, Flask, Bootstrap)
- Worked closely with data engineers to improve Power BI dashboards efficiency, developed OLAP Cubes with SSAS.
